15 weeks of growing!

March 31st through April 6th was the 15th wonderful week of caring my little child.

The week started of great, being my first Easter as a mommy!

Daddy and I went to the river "Big Rock" in a near by town and had lots of fun searching for rocks and walking the beach. It was a great time and I got lots of exercise!

 Daddy and I both had lots of fun. One thing being pregnant I am being much more careful and worrying about the area that I climb. I wouldn't go down to the water because I couldn't climb down the rock path in fear of possibly hurting myself and the little one but that didn't stop dare devil Daddy!

This week has brought me more growth in many different ways. I have found out different shops around my town Mimi's Kids, and the local Ross that sell great maternity clothes. Its been fun but hard to find new clothes that I am comfortable in.

I am no longer having morning sickness. This week I am feeling healthier then I have ever felt! I have my next OB/GYN appointment scheduled for the 16th week.

Lots more great news that I started this week, the father of my child got a great job! We have started preparing the nursery!

Something I am looking forward to the most in the next few weeks is finding out the sex of our child. I have a feeling that it is a little girl. As long as my child is healthy that is all I care about. We do have names picked out! I will share those in the 16th week!

14 Weeks!

Saturday March 23rd- Friday March 29th My 14 weeks of  beautiful Pregnancy! 

We are now starting to plan the baby shower, with the amazing help of my older Sister Dawn. As well as getting the space arranged in my home to hold this little bundle of joy only 6 months away!! 

I went from thinking I had about 8 months to only 6! That was a huge adjustment to a new mommy and daddy. 

My body, and hormones are starting to change dramatically as well I am gaining weight, my clothes are fitting right any more but on the positive side my hair and nails are getting long and very thick!

Changes I am working on this week is taking care of myself and the baby and reading so many different reading materials! 

I have started going on a walk every day, we have found many beautiful spots around my town, a lake and parks, great safe and peaceful spots to be talking to "Daddy" about our baby.

Even Starting to try to read my tummy a bed time story every night. Goodnight Moon is still my favorite bed time story. 

A First of Many Beautiful First Memories

March 26th 2013 was meeting with my OB/GYN Dr. Dau.

While at the appointment talking to the nurse, learning so much information, hearing all the Do's and Don'ts and talking about past health history. WE all came to the decision that I HAD to be further along then 8 weeks like we had previously been told.

She called up my Dr. from the on call and he did my first ultrasound in the first visit!

It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I started to cry. Being able to see my little baby growing, moving, and wiggling inside me was so magical I will never be able to explain that feeling.

As of that moment EVERYTHING inside me changed! Yes, I knew I had a baby in me, but now I can see it! My mind started going in over drive, Baby shower  furniture, space, feeding, health, names, everything oh and then the expenses .. all went over me in one big tidal wave, but then looking back at the monitor screen it was all okay and it would work out because I had to MAKE it be okay for my little blessing!

At my ultrasound we found out that I am 14 weeks!! I also have a new due date!

Estimated Date of arrival is September 21, 2013! The last day to be born as a Virgo.

Changes

My Baby!

The wonderful thing about being pregnant is seeing how much my body changes. I have went from a size 1-2 to a 3 paternity size! I have gained weight, my skin is acne free! and I have never had better nails in my entire life! 

I am feeling healthy and happy (besides the crazy mood swings, I'll get to that....) and full of energy with NO CAFFEINE! 

those mood swings.... I am totally happy giggly and great one moment then the next, I'm crying and LAUGHING for no reason why,  James asks me "Are you crying or laughing?" "Both" I reply not sure what emotion I am actually feeling but pure exhaustion. 

Well now I have started getting this dreaded "Morning" sickness, morning my butt all day I'd say... But watching my tummy grow every day and planning for what will come it has been a great adventure so far and I am looking forward to the rest of the development of my pregnancy and getting to hold my baby for the very first time.

Breanna, First Time Mommy! 

I am ALWAYS Hungry!

I have always grown up eating lots! even though I have always been thin I could eat way more then people  thought I should be able to. Now my appetite has just GROWN! Never thought I could be more hungry then before I was pregnant. Between all the social media's and websites with Delicious food, trying to learn what is safe and isn't safe during pregnancy is one of the hardest things for me as a first time mother!!!

I have cut out ALL caffeine out of my diet, trust me even though I didn't drink coffee that was super hard! I drank lots of teas that had caffeine in them... Now its purely decaffeinated.

I am "google" searching every time I am not sure if I can eat this or that... I am still confused about Tuna Fish? Can I eat it? Should I eat it? If I can, what kinds are the best? Advice please...

Well after lots of searching I found a great site that made it easy to find Delicious foods, how much of each food group I should eat, and some amazing recipes! 

One that I found was 

 a basic trail mix that had:

1 cup your favorite Honey Bunches Of Oats Cereal ( I recommend with Almond Clusters)
1 cup of raisins, cran-raisins, or pomegranate raisins
1/2 of other dried fruit (Pineapple, bananas, apples)
1/2 of sun flower seeds
2 table spoons of Powder sugar
1 table spoon of brown sugar

Place in a zip lock bag and shake!

This snack is great at your desk, in the car, just watching a good movie, or reading a great book.

Pregnant and Beautiful

As my dear child is growing inside me more and more everyday.. (I swear I wake up larger then when I fell asleep) I have started feeling about myself that I am becoming "Heavy" "Fat" I KNOW I am not and it is all my self conscious issues, and have been always thin and this being the first time I have ever had a tummy, it is VERY strange to look at myself in the mirror. I KNOW! I'm not fat I'm pregnant and beautiful but with today's society of what "beauty" is and me always being self conscious because I was TO THIN! Its hard not to have these thoughts sometimes... Well, my dear boyfriend and father of my child has been trying for now over 2 years that we have been together to get me to love my body the way I am. He always says to me "You are BEAUTIFUL!" and remembering that  is the hardest part. Well today while I was at work, feeling nauseous, not pretty and just kinda low he sent me a beautiful picture that reminded me that he loves me and our baby.
